Since getting married in 2021, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have embraced the holidays, especially Christmas. They often share moments from their lives on social media, showing their “over the top” holiday spirit. In 2017, Stefani and Shelton worked together on the duet “You Make It Feel Like Christmas,” which was included on Stefani’s holiday album of the same name. This year, Stefani performed her own version of the classic song “White Christmas” during the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade, highlighting her holiday spirit.

Gwen Stefani embraced Disney princess vibes while performing at Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Resort, Anaheim, California. Despite the green landscape, the three-time Grammy winner, 56, created a winter wonderland as she sang, “Where the treetops glisten, and children listen to hear sleigh bells in the snow.”

Irving Berlin wrote the song “White Christmas” for the 1942 film *Holiday Inn*. Some say he was longing for a snowy Christmas. Reports differ on whether he came up with the song in California or Arizona. However, it’s clear that when he gave the song to his secretary on January 8, 1940, he called it “the best song anybody ever wrote.”

Bing Crosby first sang “White Christmas” on his NBC radio show, The Kraft Music Hall, on Christmas Day 1941. His recording later became the best-selling single ever, with over 50 million copies sold worldwide.

Gwen Stefani Just Released Two New Christmas Songs

Gwen Stefani’s 2017 Christmas album, titled You Make It Feel Like Christmas, features both classic holiday songs and original tracks. Last month, she released a deluxe version of the album exclusively on Amazon. The new edition adds two original songs: “Shake the Snow Globe” and “Hot Cocoa.”

Stefani wrote “Shake the Snow Globe” for the Netflix movie Oh. What. Fun., which features Michelle Pfeiffer, Dennis Leary, and Jason Schwartzman. She mentioned on Today that she aimed to create a song that felt less Christmas-like and was more alternative.
